Bharath Natyan: Most Expected
Attraction
The public gets enchanted when the dancing girls go
on stage and through synchronized movements paint India’s millenary
cultural aspects.
Appeared in India’s south, the dance style known as
Bharath Natyan is still little practiced in Brazil. However, the
Natyalaya indian school dance, hosted in São Paulo, has already
prepared great talents, among them, Gaurangi, who will take part in
the select artists group of Festival of India Brazil 2008.

Arrives from Lisbon Photographer
of Festival of India Brazil 2008
The portuguese photographer Radha Shakti arrived in
São Paulo on december 19th bringing with her high
technology equipment to assure the top most photography standard of
Festival of India Brazil 2008.
Radha is specialized in big events photography
covering. In her extensive curriculum we find works such as:
Festival of India in Berlin and in Leipzig, in Germany, Woodstock,

Festival of India 2008 will have
International Cooker
Dinesh Balakrishnan is in Brazil for only two days,
but with his traditional Indian revenue he has already conquered an
expressive number of appreciators. Asian Flavours is the name of the
restaurant in São Paulo where Dinesh prepares his tasteful and
exotic foods. Situated in one of the most BADALADAS regions of the
capital, the restaurant is attracting a loyal public of the menu
elaborated with great affection and experience.

Mantra Rock Concert Will Shake the
Crowd
The Nam Rock Band Brazil, leaded by the californian
Titiksava Karunika Dasa (Thomas Plummer), will perform during all
the Festival of India 2008 Tour.
The band mixtures India’s millenary music, generally
used for meditation, with the traditional californian rock n’ roll.
The mixture of theses two musical styles results on an enthusiastic
and pleasant mantra rock, which always finalizes the presentations
of Festival of India joyfully and in great style.
The group already exists in United Sates for more
than 15 years and has its brazilian formation for a little more than
three.
Titiksava arrives from San Diego, United States, on
december 25th for rehearsals with the brazilian version
of his band.

Festival of Indian Brazil 2008
Promotes Indian Classical Music
Another experienced group that presents on Festival
of India Brazil 2008 tour is the Krishna Sambandha, constituded by
Karuna Caitanya (percussion), Diego Maldonado (mrdanga) and
Sebastian Kauak (sitar).
The trio from Santiago do Chile has already acted in
many concerts and musical events presenting ragas with a peculiar
style from north of India (hindustani). The group will participate
the whole Festival of India Brazil 2008, bringing the best of
India’s millenary classical music.

Amala Kirtan Back in Brazil
The second stage of Festival of India Brazil 2008
counts with the talent and sympathy of Amala Kirtan, who can be
considered one of the biggest revelations in kirtans and bhajans
(traditional music).
Lives in
Dallas, United States, for seven years, since he got in America he
has demonstrated a surprising musical evolution, conquering prestige
and acknowledgement.
Amala
will take part in the select delegation of Festival of India Brazil
2008 in the period of january 13th to 22nd.

American Musical Group Confirms
Presence on Festival of India Brazil 2008
Constituted by young and experience musicians
specialized in the traditional Vaishnava school of music, the
Mayapuri group enchants the public with the most melodious and sweet
kirtans.
The musicians live in Florida, United States, and
they are on of the highlights of Festival of India North-American
version during the summer.
They will arrive on the very first days of january
2008, and the big expectation is to Mayapury definitively conquer
the brazilian public with his joyful and relax way of doing kirtans.
